The Challenge
The most significant challenge I faced during this project was my limited experience with Adobe XD. As a beginner, I encountered difficulties at almost every stage of the design process, from wireframing to creating interactive prototypes. Learning the software while simultaneously designing an app was a challenge, but it ultimately provided valuable lessons in problem-solving and design.
The Solution
To overcome the challenges, I immersed myself in learning Adobe XD through hands-on practice. I focused on simplifying the user experience by ensuring intuitive navigation and prioritizing ease of use. I used bright colors for the most critical buttons to guide users and enhance the app’s overall usability. This approach helped me create a more accessible and engaging experience for the users.
The Result
By completing this project, I gained proficiency in Adobe XD and developed a strong understanding of wireframing and prototyping. The app allowed me to experiment with UX/UI concepts and provided a solid foundation for further learning. Field Guide serves as a personal milestone in my design journey, showcasing my ability to learn and apply new skills to create a functional and user-friendly product.
